Regional Business Meetings
Held three times a year — in Mid-Winter, Spring, and Autumn — our Regional Business Meetings provide valuable opportunities for members to come together, learn, and share insights on the evolving world of golf club management.
Each meeting features:
- Expert speakers and case studies covering key topics such as club operations, finance, sustainability, and membership engagement.
- Interactive discussions on current challenges and best practices within golf club management.
- Networking opportunities with fellow managers and industry professionals from across the region.
These gatherings are at the heart of our regional activity — a chance to stay informed, exchange ideas, and strengthen the professional network that underpins the success of every golf club.
Other Regional Events
In addition to our main Business Meetings, we host a variety of specialist workshops and networking events throughout the year.
These may include:
- Focused education days on topics such as leadership, sustainability, governance, and technology.
- The annual Invitation Meeting, traditionally held in June, where members can invite their Club Captain or Committee Member as a guest. This highlight event includes lunch, a fourball better ball Stableford competition, dinner, and prizes — always a well-attended and memorable day.
A great deal of care goes into planning every event, and members consistently find that the networking, learning, and camaraderie make attendance well worth the effort.
Mid-Winter Business Meeting & AGM
February/March
The Mid-Winter Meeting and AGM, held each February/Macrh, begins our year. The essential business of the AGM is followed by an Educational Seminar, offering valuable professional development for members, while retired members are often invited to enjoy guided tours of the host venue.
Spring Business Meeting
May
Our Spring Business Meeting typically take place in the morning, followed by a light lunch. For those who wish to stay on, an afternoon Stableford competition and evening dinner with prize presentations complete the day.
Autumn Business Meeting
September
Our Autumn Business Meeting typically take place in the morning, followed by a light lunch. For those who wish to stay on, an afternoon Stableford competition and evening dinner with prize presentations complete the day.
